Child Protection Policy

Freechat creates international exchange opportunities and enhances mutual trust for people around the world on a global scale. We believe that protecting children is everyone's responsibility and that every child is important. We realize that the care, protection and well-being of children is essential and that all children have the right to be protected from any form of abuse.

Freechat recognizes that our programs and operations are prone to contact or impact on children, and we have a vital responsibility to care for all of them, including protecting them from harm or risk of harm arising from:

a. Misconduct by our employees or partners

b. Improper execution

c. Unreasonable design or execution of our projects and operations

We achieve the goal of protecting children by complying with the laws of the relevant countries in the world and by complying with the relevant provisions of Article 19 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child promulgated in 1989.

Freechat defines a child as everyone who has not reached their 18th birthday (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1989), regardless of the legal age of majority in the child's country of origin or country of origin.
