List of device permissions usage

Freechat respects user privacy and user security, when you use Freechat's Square, Social, Add Friends, Storage, Camera/photo, App, App Download, Voice, Video related features, Freechat will ask you for the following permissions to ensure proper use of the features.

- File storage/reading

This permission is used when you need to use Freechat for socializing, sending files, downloading, storing, posting content, etc.

- Photo/Video/Microphone

This permission is used when you use the Freechat social function to take video/photo/voice recordings.

- Address Book

This permission is used to find out if your friends are using Freechat and to invite them to use Freechat when you are using Freechat Social.

- Data analysis and advertising

This permission is used to analyze your habits and hobbies of using Freechat and recommend relevant content for you to meet personalized recommendations, this feature is off by default, you can turn on this feature at any time through Freechat settings.

- Encrypted network

This permission is used when you can't use Freechat because of network limitation, you will use Freechat through encrypted network.

- Geolocation

This permission is used to use nearby people to see what your nearby friends are sending you.
